OUR DEPARTMENT AIMS
Our aim as a department is to build pupils’ confidence and allow them to explore, experiment and create imaginative ideas that are grounded in traditional painting, drawing and 3D skills.
Pupils will be given opportunities to try printmaking, batik and clay, as well as being introduced to IT skills and photography where appropriate. The department feels that it is important to listen to pupils’ needs and is looking forward to finding out what they want to discover in Art lessons, because we want them to enjoy lessons, have fun and take part in a subject that encourages us to be creative.
