The Mathletes at MACS play an important role in supporting the Mathematics Department by actively assisting with a range of academic and enrichment activities. This dedicated group of pupils from Years 7 and 8 demonstrate what it means to be Motivated and Ambitious, giving their time to support others while striving to develop their own skills and confidence.
Our Mathletes provide valuable help during Homework Club, support their peers with mathematical understanding, and contribute to a variety of departmental and extracurricular maths activities. Through this, they show genuine Care for others, helping to build confidence, resilience and a positive attitude towards learning.
By taking on this leadership role, Mathletes also become more Self-Aware, developing communication skills, responsibility and a deeper understanding of their own strengths. Their enthusiasm, reliability and willingness to help others make them a highly valued and impactful part of our school community.
