Dear Parent(s)/Carer(s).
Re: Covid-19 Face coverings
Last night the First Minister announced that Welsh Government will be expecting the introduction of face-coverings in all secondary schools and college settings as soon as possible.
The Minister for Education and Welsh Language has written to all headteachers today stating that all staff and students should now wear a face-covering whilst indoors, which includes classrooms, where physical distancing cannot be maintained. The letter confirms that this is a temporary and precautionary measure, which will remain in place until the end of this term.
You will be aware that some students and staff have been exempt from wearing a face covering and I wish to confirm that this policy remains in place.
If your child is exempt from wearing a face covering, please use the link below to complete the google form for our information.

As face coverings in secondary schools should come into effect as soon as possible, we will implement this no later than Thursday 2nd December 2021. This is to give notice to all members of our school community.
We would be grateful if you could support us by providing your child with a face covering to come to school. The school has a stock of face-coverings for those pupils who may forget them.
I thank you in anticipation of your support with this measure and will update you should there be any further announcements.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs S Evans
Headteacher
