Dear Parent / Carer,
I would like to invite you to attend our Virtual Year 11 Parents’ Evening on Thursday 21st October 2021. This is an important evening and provides you with an opportunity to hear about your child’s progress in lessons and other important information regarding Year 11. Each meeting with your child’s subject tutors will be 4 minutes long with a minute in-between to enter the next meeting.
The school has introduced a new initiative and easy to use online appointment booking system. This allows you to choose your own appointment times with teachers and you will receive an email confirming your appointments. We are confident this will be an improvement to the previous system and welcome any feedback.
Appointments can be made from 4pm on Thursday 14th October and will close at 4pm on Wednesday 20th October. Should you wish to make any changes after this date please contact Mr Dowden via DowdenH1@hwbcymru.net

There will also be an opportunity to speak to our Careers Advisor, Mr Samuel Richards. If you wish to book a meeting with Mr Richards, please select Year 11 as an option on the booking form.
A short guide on how to add appointments is included with this letter (it can be downloaded at the bottom of this page). Please also watch the following video to understand how to log in and use the system. It is one appointment for a pupil per subject; therefore, if you require an additional person to attend, you are able to invite them into your meetings, which are shown at the bottom of the webpage via this link:
