Please see below an important and interesting opportunity available to learners in Y10 through to Y13:

Despite these challenging times we are still committed to provide opportunities for students and schools to find out more about engineering careers. We have a number of virtual offerings we wanted to make you aware of.
Virtual work experience
With so much uncertainty still, we have decided we won’t be able to deliver a face to face work experience programme this academic year, however we have committed to running 5 sessions of virtual work experience. These will mainly take place during the school holidays, will last 3.5 days and will replicate, as closely as were able to, the project format we usually use for our work experience programme.
It will be suitable for students in years 10 through to 13 and one of the five weeks is just available for female students to apply to. There will be 120 places available as some places are already filled by students who applied for the 2020 scheme. We still anticipate a high number of applications and for it to be competitive to receive a place.

We would be grateful if you could share this with your students in years 10 and above, we will begin reviewing applications in January.
Kind regards,
Renishaw’s Education Outreach Team
