Dear parent/carer,
I hope you are all ok and keeping yourselves and your families well in these challenging times.
The Chair of Governors has asked me to inform you of the Governing Body’s decision to close the school tomorrow, Monday 2nd November 2020, following the recent cases of COVID-19 at the school. The Council has been informed and is happy for tomorrow’s closure to go ahead.
The Director of Education and members of the LA Health and Safety Team will attend school to meet with the Headteacher at 9a.m. to review current Health & Safety procedures. The Governing Body will meet at 10am to discuss the current staffing situation and any Health & Safety concerns before making a decision regarding the rest of the week.
The school will remain open for pupils resitting examinations but pupils will need to make their own way to school as there will be no school transport provided.
Learning resources and materials will be available for pupils via Google Classrooms.
