Barnardo’s has launched two new initiatives to support families during the current Covid-19 pandemic. Support can be accessed online and also self-referral can be achieved via a telephone helpline. The ‘See, Hear, Respond’ service aims to offer therapeutic support to overcome challenges linked to Covid-19; including loss, anxiety, children’s mental health, financial and relationship difficulties.

A second service launched is a UK helpline and live webchat facility for Black, Asian and minority ethnic children, young people and their families. The relevant website links and telephone numbers are explained in full in the letter from Barnardo’s Cymru which can be downloaded, below.
