Mountain Ash Comprehensive School A Level results

Mountain Ash Comprehensive School A level students have achieved an outstanding set of A Level results once again this year with 90% achieving the Level 3 threshold.  Headteacher Samantha Evans said “I am so proud of our students, staff and parents. The students have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded with some outstanding results.  All students have secured places on their chosen courses at universities and colleges and a number have also obtained some sought after apprenticeships”.

There were a number of notable performances at A level:

Conner Hughes A Level Results

Connor Hughes: A* in Mathematics, A in Physics, B in Religious Studies. Connor will go on to study physics at the University Of Warwick.

Georgia Summerill A Level Results

Georgia Summerill: A in Biology, A in Physical Education, B in Chemistry. Georgia will go on to study Biomedical Sciences at Cardiff University.

Shannon Davies: Distinction* in Hospitality, Merit in Public Services, C in Welsh Baccalaureate. Shannon will go on to study Criminology and Criminal Justice and Youth Justice at the University of South Wales.

Danielle Evans: Distinction in Performing Arts, C in Welsh Baccalaureate, C in English Literature, C in Religious Studies. Danielle will go on to study Acting at UWTSD.

Holly Garrett: Distinction in Music, Merit in Performing Arts, C in English Literature.  Holly will go to undertake an apprenticeship in Media at the BBC.

Jack Thickett:  Jack already achieved an A* in A Level Mathematics a year early, A in AS Physics, A in AS Chemistry and A in AS Biology.

Sylwia Majer AS Results

Sylwia Majer: Sylwia has already achieved an A* in A Level Polish, A in AS English Literature, A in Religious Studies, C in AS Geography.

Ryan Hill AS Results

Ryan Hill:  A in AS English Literature, A in AS Religious Studies, C in History.
