Christopher Kapessa

The whole school has been devastated by the tragic loss of Christopher.

Christopher was a well-known and popular member of our school. He was always full of energy, with a great sense of humour, who enjoyed making people laugh. Christopher was a caring friend to pupils within his year group and the wider school community. He will be sorely missed by us all.

Christopher was a keen footballer, playing for both the school and his local team in Mountain Ash. On Wednesday 3rd July, Christopher's friends held a football match in his memory, supported by pupils and staff at the school. A minute's silence was held as a mark of respect. Over £1000 was raised at this event. Both the school and wider community have continued to raise funds in a number of ways including a group of pupils walking up Pen-Y-Fan on Sunday 7th July.

Our sincere and heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends at this difficult time.
